I do tend to order online as its much cheaper and Needlecraft is very over priced although in emergencies they have been a god send and the staff have always been helpful to me!

Strange place!

The stars are for the atmosphere, not the stock! The shop is well-stocked & is probably the best shop I've ever found for needlecraft products. It has a wide selection of wools & fabrics, plus accessories - although charging over �£50 for a pair of pinking shears which I bought online for �£14 is a bit cheeky! However, the atmosphere in the shop is very odd & the staff can be blunt to the point of being rude. The place is lit by flourescent strips & I felt odd after being in there just 5 minutes, so this may explain the staff's lackadaisical attitude. The lighting wouldn't cost much to change but would transform the atmosphere in there. Also, the place needs refreshing as it feels a bit grubby - although maybe a change of lighting would fix that too.
