Sally Turner Antiques

I needed to sell my jewellery so I looked on the internet for people who dealt with buying and selling antique jewellery. I came across Sally's online shop and read the reviews. She seemed to have a good reputation. However, when I got in contact with her, my experience was very different and NOT in a good way. I asked for one particular piece of jewellery to which I had been very attached, to be kept aside so that I could come to her shop and collect it in person. When I expressed this wish to her in a telephone conversation, my understanding was that this was okay. However, I received no further news on what was happening with the jewellery that was to be sold, even though an agreement on an offer price for the pieces to be sold had been reached. Despite having left voice messages and emails at Sally's shop, no one got back to me promptly about what was happening, so I was completely in the dark. It was at the last minute, when I was finally able to speak with Sally that she told me that ALL of my jewellery had been sold, including the piece that I had asked to be kept aside for me. A WORD OF ADVICE: Should you wish to approach Sally to buy from or sell to her, you should be aware that at the end of the day, she is not there for the customer. She is there for to make a profit. I was not satisfied with the service I received so my advice is to think very carefully before you approach her, whether you are intending to buy from her or sell to her.

I used this business because I needed to sell some jewellery. I agreed with the buyer Sally Turner of Sally Turner Antiques on an offer price. I gave very specific instructions about the jewellery and did not receive acknowledgement that she received my messages by phone or email. When I finally got in touch with Sally, she told me that she had started selling ALL of my pieces. If I were you, I would think VERY carefully before buying from her or SELLING to her.
